Worn-out cables

There are many cables inside the flashlight. They connect the light, battery, switch, and circuits. If one of the cables is damaged somehow, the flashlight will currently stop working. Sometimes, the charging cable of the Coast flashlight can also be damaged. So, your flashlight is not charging, although you are trying to recharge it.

How do you change the battery of the Coast flashlight?

When the flashlight does not turn on, it might happen because of the damaged battery, and you should change it. Changing the battery requires a specific process. There are several steps you should follow to replace the damaged battery.

• Step 01: Remove the top

You have to twist the top of the Coast flashlight. After continuing the process, you will notice that the cap has automatically come out.

• Step 02: Remove the batteries

There is a handle on the battery inside the flashlight. You will tilt the handle to see the batteries. After that, take the batteries out.

• Step 03: Install the new batteries

Now, fix new and suitable batteries inside the flashlight. It would be best if you were careful about the position. You have to place the negative side of the battery downward. Otherwise, the flashlight will not work.

• Step 04: Reattach the top of the flashlight

After installing the battery, you should attach the top of the flashlight to it again. Now, turn the light on to check whether the flashlight is working.

• Step 05: Put the flashlight into charging

The new battery should provide a sufficient charge for several hours. So, follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer and recharge the battery.
